Today we had the Hiwi the Kiwi show at school in the hall. 
These are some rules when you are fishing in a boat or off the wharf.  When you are on a boat you must wear a life jacket so you don't drown. 
You should have a signal so you can get help if someone is hurt or in trouble. 
If you catch a big fish and it is under 27cm you should throw it back in the water because it is too small. If it is too big put it back in the water because it might have babies. 
You should use a flannel or a wet towel  to handle it and if you hold it with bare hands when you throw it back it could die or get sick. 
You should have some salt in a bucket with ice in it.  
He gave out posters, stickers and a hat with a fishing rod. He said that he had 900 and something fishing rods. At the end he sang some songs and we sang along and he sang one about a beatle song. He had a guitar.

Riwaka River

On Sunday when I went to the Riwaka river with Dad we went on the track. We had to walk the whole way through the track then you came to a  picnic spot and then we came to a big rock.  After we came to a sign and it had pictures of caves and they were underground.  Then we came to a cave. We went  down steps and touched the water. It was cold as a freezing  ice block. Then we went back to have a picnic. We had sandwiches and oranges and then we went home. When I went on a bike ride with Dad we went to the bridge and we went on the BMX track.    

Christchruch

In the  holidays I flew to Christchurch with Dad. The ladies on the plane gave us lollies. When we got on the ground we had to walk a long way. Then we went to Budget Rentals to get a car.  We had the car for the weekend. We were heading to Granny and Grandad's house.  We went to the lollie shop and got lots and lots of yummy lollies. Dad and Grandad and I   went to a plane museum and I got a hatching kiwi that grows.  On Sunday we went to Orana park. I took photos of birds. They were beautiful. 

Xbox

In the weekend when I got my new Xbox I saw Sam and Taylor on Minecraft. Taylor gave me a diamond sword and Sam gave me full diamond armour. 
  I went on a bike ride with Dad. It was so long my legs were exhausted and I was tired. It was 7 km to get to Appleby. Dad and I had a picnic.  I had a carrot and other stuff. I saw people playing paintball and then Dad saw a rabbit. It was fast. I chased the rabbit but I didn't get it. I was sad. We went to see men do whitebaiting. Then we had to go another 7 kms when we went home. I did roller skating after that 

My Scooter

My Scooter is dark pink and black. My helmet is red and  white. I got my scooter for my sixth birthday from Grandad.  I have been learning to do big jumps  and wheelies, front flips and back flips too. I have black hand grips.

Rain Bow Ski Fields

In the Holidays I went to Rainbow Skifield. I went on a Toboggan. Dad and I went on a bus. We saw waterfalls. Dad made me get snowball glasses and we built a snowman. I jumped on the  snowman. I was getting hungry so I had a chocolate bar and it was yummy. Then I fell over on my face. I threw a snowball at dads bum. I said to dad "We are going to have a race." The red  toboggan went  slow and the yellow toboggan  one was fast. I had the red one and dad had the yellow one. I said to dad. "This one goes fast." Then I won. It was time to go. We went on the bus again down to the bottom of the mountain. It was a long drive. I saw rivers then I saw dads work. It was  Goldpine.
Dad and I had an awesome day in the snow.
